Culture of Peace Corporation

I established the Culture of Peace Corporation in September 2010 with the help of attorney Jim Whitney of New Haven with the purpose of ensuring my books, websites and archives after my death.

As of 2013, eight young people with whom I have worked in recent years serve as Directors of the Corporation along with me. Four are among the youth team who did the work of the 2010 End-of-Decade Report from the Civil Society. They are Marcos Estrada (Brazil), Meg Villanueva (Philippines), Lillian Solheim (Norway) and Oliver Rizzi Carlson (Switzerland). Three have been associated with CPNN for a number of years: Joe Yannielli (who lives near me in New Haven), Diana Tashkova from Bulgaria and Gwenaeille Beauvais from France. Two have been associated with the youth initiative of the Alliance of Civilizations: Jo Lofgren who prepared the Youth Report with me in 2006 and later joined the staff at the United Nations to work on the youth initiative; and Isabelle Legare (who replaced Jo on the staff at the United Nations).
